Giving back to the community
At Edinburgh Gardening Services, we believe our work is about more than maintaining gardens. As a local Edinburgh business, we’re proud to support charities, community spaces and organisations that make a real difference.
Our main charity focus is Cash for Kids Mission Christmas, helping raise awareness and support for children who may otherwise wake up on Christmas morning without a gift. Alongside this, we also volunteer our time at a local child respite centre and help maintain the grounds at Corstorphine Dynamo FC.

Supporting Cash for Kids Mission Christmas
Cash for Kids Mission Christmas is a cause close to our hearts, supporting children and young people who may otherwise go without a gift at Christmas.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of our customers, team and local community, we raised an incredible £1,690 through our “Mowvember” fundraising and local support. We were also pleased to help transport 50 donated toys to the Cash for Kids drop-off point at The Gyle.

Volunteering at Calareidh
Twice a year, the EGS team volunteers at Calareidh, a specialist Edinburgh respite centre for children and young people with complex disabilities and medical needs. We help restore and maintain the gardens, creating safe, welcoming outdoor spaces for children, families and staff to enjoy.
Helping maintain local sports grounds
We’re also proud to support Corstorphine Dynamo FC by helping maintain their sports grounds throughout the year. From tidying up the grounds to keeping the space in good condition, we’re pleased to play a small part in supporting a facility that means a lot to the local community.
A small team effort with a big impact
Whether we’re raising money, transporting toys, restoring gardens or helping maintain community spaces, our aim is simple: to give something back to the people and places around us.
