At Edinburgh Gardening Services, we’re proud to support organisations that make a real difference in our local community. One cause that means a great deal to us is Cash for Kids Mission Christmas, a campaign that helps ensure children who may otherwise go without receive a gift on Christmas morning.

Last year, the EGS team got behind the campaign through fundraising, donations and practical support. As part of our “Mowvember” fundraising, every garden we mowed contributed directly to the cause, with all proceeds going to Cash for Kids.

Thanks to the generosity of our customers, team and local community, we were able to raise an incredible £1,690.

We were also delighted to support Michelle and the team at Cundall, who each purchased a gift for a child as part of the campaign. Our team helped by transporting 50 toys from their Edinburgh office to the Cash for Kids drop-off point at The Gyle.

The main Mission Christmas campaign takes place in November each year, but the build-up starts much earlier. This year, we’re looking forward to supporting Cash for Kids again and helping raise even more awareness for such an important cause.

For us, this is about more than fundraising. It’s about using our time, team and resources to support children and families who need it most.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported last year’s campaign, donated prizes, contributed gifts or helped spread the word. Together, we made a real difference — and we’re excited to do even more this year.
